Why did we do this web site:

This year we have designed and created a web site that can be used all year around to help people, especially those who are handicapped or have special needs, make plans for hurricanes evacuation. We developed a presentation that has been given to the Brevard County EOC, the Brevard County Public Schools Office of Exceptional Education, the Brevard Chapter of the Red Cross and the Brevard County Commissioners. All of these  organizations were very pleased with the level of detail and thought the team had put into the web site. The Brevard County EOC has even asked for a copy of the entire web site – over 28 web pages and many pictures and graphics to give to the web master to incorporate in their current web site.

This research project was submitted to eCYBERMISSION, an online science and technology competition. As a result, the team won First Place for the South East Regional overall 6th Grade Division.
